A Glimpse into Experimental Videos
The Infinite Dances
Experimenting with some glittery fluid acrylics and Macro Videography.
I felt it reflected the infinite beauty and complexity found in the minutiae of our universe. Each swirl of color and speck of glitter becomes a galaxy, reminding me to ponder my place in the vast tapestry of existence and the profound beauty of exploring the small and the seemingly mundane.

Syymphony Speaks
On a particularly sweltering day in Texas, I embarked on a personal project to study nature's minute details up close, capturing its unassuming beauty and watching it dance through my lens. I experimented by kaleidoscoping the footage, transforming familiar scenes into a hypnotic visual symphony, and selecting a whimsical song that added a light-hearted, almost touch to the video. This endeavor was not just an exploration of nature's textures and patterns but a reflection on the mesmerizing ways in which we can perceive the world around us when we choose to look closer or let our imagination play with reality.
Music: "Dorothy" by Giyo.
Retake on Oramunde, Emlen Etting
My fascination with death has always run deep, leading me to discover a captivating video while exploring YouTube late at night. I shared my vision for a darker dance-type video with a friend, he said, "Let's make it!," so we did, in his backyard one summer evening.
Despite its seemingly dark themes, the video's stunning visuals and soul-stirring music resonated with me profoundly. After much reflection on its symbolism, I concur with the common interpretation that it delves into the concept of the transition or the loss of this human form or, perhaps ,more so, the journey to getting there. However, my perspective on death is not solely tied to its melancholy aspects. I view it as a powerful catalyst for transformation, marking the end of the self, the ego, and perhaps a melting back into the vast pool of divine consciousness. 'Be not afraid,' I remind myself.
The narrative, as I see it, portrays a woman embarking on a journey through life, eventually transcending to an unknown realm. It's a transition that leaves the interpretation open to the viewer, inviting them to contemplate the myriad possibilities that lie beyond.
It is a bit hard to see the background projected video completely. We did our best.

We Are All Flutes
Inspired by Ulla Suokko's TED Talk titled 'Do You See the Signs of the Universe?' I blended her insightful words with the calming song 'Be Still' by Rivers and Robots. This fusion stirred within me an urge to dance on a Sunday afternoon with my silk fans, which are always relaxing, and express my emotions through the harmony of this music and Ulla's words.
